Used to help a farmer when i was a kid who had mules they werealways amazing to me

Mules also tolerate heat better than horses. Mules are less tolerant of abuse than horses. It is said that a mule remembers abuse and gets even eventually.

Mules are truly interesting animals and it is unfortunate they are sterile. I remember in many a Western mules were the pack and draft animal of choice. Those of us of a certain age remember "Death Valley Days" and "20 Mule Team Borax" hand soap. One thing I have always heard is that horse people have to keep firmly in mind when handling them is that a mule is not a horse. They will behave differently than a horse and can kick in ways a horse either can not or does not. If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.
