Well, I guess it was bound to happen - I was blocked so that I could not view someone's blog. This is a first for me...I thought when I commented on their blog that I was respectful and offered sage advice. I guess they felt otherwise...
I'm not sure how I should feel by being blocked - offended or excited. Hmmm...

I got a bit of energy today and was craving my favorite cookie, so I made a batch that consists of about 4 dz...I may need some assistance, any volunteers?

(Good) morning…
Soooooo, after stopping by Starbuck’s this morning, as I was pulling up to the parking garage at work – I see an idiot that drove his car over the hedges in our parking lot. As I approach the gate, I look over again at the idiot and all of the drinks spill on the front floor of my car (I know, who’s the idiot now??? LO …I then proceed to drive to my parking spot and notice someone is parked in my assgned spot. So I park in the visitor lot and then stop by my friends office to make him feel bad for parking in my spot (he doesn’t) LOL. I get to my office and the window is leaking and has been dripping on one of my pictures...ugh, I should’ve stayed home.

"Phishing" messages - proceed with caution

Below is an interesting exchange of messages that I had earlier this week. This person appears to be searching for some personal information (e.g. email address) to use for their personal gain.
I find it fascinating (and hard to believe) that someone would give this person their personal contact information w/in three messages - especially since their grammar is off, and they are just sending generic emails.
A word of advice - proceed with caution when having initial conversations (and meet ups too).
Initial message:
So sorry to infringe on your privacy,Its said that 'A picture is worth a thousand words, but when I saw yours,it was more than words could explain.The charming profile is irresistible,though a little personal message but your look tells a lot about a nice person...so i had to drop a message to the charming person with this great profile.Just want to know you better and be a friend or more. Hope to hear from you sometime
My response:
You did not infringe on my privacy, but I question if you really read my profile or if this is just a standard message you send people.
Second message:
Yes i really do read your message and i ill like to get to know more about you if you dont mind
My response (to see if they are truly real):
Good morning - I do not mind at all, I look forward to getting to know you as well. Did you have a nice weekend?
Third message:
Great, thanks for getting back to me and for your lovely comment about me as well...I ill really love to get to know more about you but the problem is that i often come online here wont you mind if you could drop your contact something like email address for some chat

Screen name vs real name usage

I have seen posts where individuals responding to a post will use the bloggers real name in lieu of their screen name. When I see this it makes me wonder what the blogger thinks - did they give them permission to use their real, is the blogger upset their real name was used, etc.
A few people here know my real name, but I have not given them permission to use it when communicating to me in a public forum; granted I haven't said they couldn't either. I believe common courtesy would dictate they use a person's screen name in a public forum, but am curious to other's opinion.
With that said, what say you?
